Amazon Yellow Pepper - Colombia 15g

Originally from Colombia, the Amazon chili pepper has the particularity of being harvested before it is fully ripe. This explains its yellow color, while most of its close cousins (like cayenne pepper) are red! The aim of this early harvest is to allow the Amazon chili to develop fruity and tart notes.

With a score close to 50,000 on the Scoville scale (equivalent 8/10), it is a chili with character, which combines spiciness and aromatic qualities.

Amazon chili can be used whole, or it can be ground and fully incorporated into your preparations.
